H1B Newsletter Debut
H1B Newsletter Debut
Date: Sunday, April 14, 2002 4:56 PM
I have been getting numerous inquiries about when I am going to start a
newsletter about H-1B. This is it!
You may want to subscribe to this free newsletter if you have an
interest in
H-1B and other related issues about the destruction of American jobs. If
you
would like to subscribe, just send a reply to this email.
*** YOU DON'T NEED TO WRITE ANYTHING, JUST SEND A REPLY ***
If you don't reply, you will be automatically taken off the mailing
list.
Issues covered in this newsletter will usually include H-1B but there
are
many other issues that may need to be discussed and I will try to send
you
interesting news as I receive it. Expect to see material on other
temporary
work visas, student visas, outsourcing, Trade Promotion Authority, Free
Trade, unemployment, and sometimes just what's going on at
www.ZaZona.com. I
have no set schedule when these newsletters will be sent out but I will
try
to limit it to no more than 3 a week.

Here is a sample of what you might expect
in a typical newsletter
Labor Condition Applications (LCA) Database Updated to over 1 million
records
www.ZaZona.com/LCA-Data
I have finally updated the online LCA database with new data. The new
data
is for H-1B submissions from March 2001 up to the end of the year.
Here is how I made the new dataset:
Previous dataset up to 3/1/2001: 943,369
Delete denied LCAs: - 95,872
Add LCAs from 3/2001 - 12/20/2001: + 158,605
Total LCAs Online: 1,006,102
I deleted all "denied LCAs" from the old data so that now 100% of the
LCAs
online are approved LCAs. I still have about another 190,000 more LCAs
to
put online because 2001 was a record year for LCA submissions, and of
course
a record year for firing American workers.
Here some statistics that I got from the database that may be of
interest to
you:
Total LCAs Online: 1,006,102
Total Number of Aliens: 3,743,387
Average Number of Aliens per LCA: 3.7
Search a lot, have fun, and most important, please mail a "Petition to
Abolish H-1B" to protest this indentured labor program.

P.S. - I wish to thank the generous people that made donations to this
website. Without their support, this database wouldn't exist. I received
several donations recently that allowed me to update the database. The
money
and the support gave me a new motivation for spending the time and
resources
necessary to do this. I will need more financial help if I am to
continue to
improve and enlarge the database. Unfortunately bigger means "more
expensive".
For information on how to make a donation go to:

If you can't donate you can click the banner ads on my site. I know that
sometimes banner ads can be annoying but I need to raise revenue to keep
this site up. I get paid a few cents every time you click, so get that
mouse
moving!
