It appears that AOL has lifted their blockade of the this newsletter.

So far AOL hasn't confirmed or denied that this newsletter was ever blocked from their users, but the fact is that something changed after several irate AOL users complained to AOL about this attack on their rights to receive the newsletter. Within 24 hours and without notice the spam block was lifted.

AOL may never admit why they lifted the block, but I can guarantee you it would have never happened if it wasn't for the efforts of a few AOL users that complained to customer support. I'm sure these complaints went to their offices in India, but the change was still made. These unsung heroes proved that small victories can still be won with a little bit of effort.

For those of you that can, I still encourage you to give me an alternate email address. As you will discover by reading the previous email, AOL limits how many emails that can be sent to their server unless you are on their gold list of approved spammers. Nobody knows exactly what their threshold is set at, but rumor says it's between 100-200 200 messages/hour. Since I'm barely under that limit I might once again be put on the AOL black list if I exceed the maximum. Therefore the less people on my mailing list that use AOL the less chance there is of being blocked. If this newsletter grows considerably that could be a future problem to contend with.

Welcome back all of you AOL users, and be thankful that there are those among you that are willing to fight for your rights!
