JOB DESTRUCTION NEWSLETTER
December 31, 2005 No. 1394
Many of you have answered my plea for donations, so allow me say thankyou!
I usually don't plug for other organizations, but since this is the end of
the year, and I feel all warm and fuzzy inside (eggnog and rum can do
that), let me take some time to discuss who else you might consider helping
out with some of your hard earned money. These are some of my favorite
organizations, and that's why I'm recommending them.
Most of these organizations are tax deductible, so get yours in before it's
too late for 2005!
There are a lot of other good organizations out there that need your help
that I didn't list here. I mostly concentrated on the orgs that I have
directly worked with in some fashion, but there are so many others that
need support.
I stand by any organization that I put on the ZaZona links page under
"Organizations That Oppose Nonimmigrant Work Visas".

------ Vdare.com ------
There is no better site to read quality material about immigration than
Vdare. One of the reasons they have such good quality writers is that they
are one of the few websites that pay their authors. I like writing for
Vdare because they pay, and it gives me an incentive to spend vast amounts
of time to edit and research the articles so that Vdare will publish them.
I have personally met with Vdare's creator - Peter Brimelow, and he is a
class act. Their webmaster is James Fulford, and I challenge anybody on
this newsletter to figure out how he does those card tricks - and whatever
you do don't play poker with him! Fulford also comes up with the creative
titles for the articles, like the one I wrote about the dentist("putting
the bite"). LOL!
Ha!Ha! This comment on the Vdare homepage by James Fulford is a riot
because trust me, the one problem he doesn't have is starvation!
And you wouldn't want me to starve to death, would you?
ZaZona.com is a shoe-string operation so every small check I have received
from Vdare is essential, and the exposure I get from Vdare gets me more
people on this newsletter, more radio interviews, more attendion in the
press, and - more donations!
In case you are wondering why I put Vdare on the top of my list it's
because I'm kissing up to them so that they publish my newest op-ed! :-)
Here are some op-eds that Vdare has paid me for:

Vdare has one major problem - paying authors costs money, and that has to
come from somewhere. That somewhere is you!
Be sure to go to this page to read more about why you should donate to
Vdare:

VDARE is also one of the only sites on the Internet whose
publisher actually pays his writers. And one of those
writers is yours truly. so, if you think that my work is
deserving of support, please hit this link to give to
VDARE. Thanks in advance.

------ Social Contract Press ------
Many of you don't know about the Social Contract Press but you should. They
publish books and materials on immigration that cannot be found anywhere
else. The authors are some of the most legendary names in the immigration
movement, like ME for instance! .... Sorry but I'm on my second eggnog.
LOL!
Seriously though, if you don't want to give a donation, subscribe to their
quarterly magazine "The Social Contract".
All the arguments I gave for supporting Vdare go for the Social Contract.
By supporting them, you support us. By looking through their archived
issues you will see a lot of familiar names such as Frosty Wooldridge,
Brenda Walker, DA King, Roy Beck, Diana Hull, Graham Otis, Vernon Briggs,
Joe Guzzardi, Paul Craig Roberts, and of course the founding father of the
immigration reform movement: John Tanton.
Here are some articles that they paid me for.

WARNING TO THE WISE
If you think writing for these orgs is a way to get rich think again!
Considering all the time you will spend writing, researching, and editing,
and then begging them to use your article you would be better off working
as a day laborer.

------ NumbersUSA.com ------
You often get my newsletters with in-depth analysis of what is going on in
Washington DC from Roy Beck - the creator of NumbersUSA. NumbersUSA is
probably the most effective grass-roots organization we have, and without
their help this year we probably would have lost the battle in Congress
over the H-1B increases. Their call-in and fax drives are the best there
are.
NumbersUSA spends a lot of money on that fax equipment and to pay the
people to write the faxes and to do the research for them. They also have a
full time lawyer on Capitol Hill who monitors what's going on in the depths
of that depraved bastion of corruption!

------ ProjectUSA.org ------
If you like "IN-YOUR-FACE!" grass-roots organizations then this is the one
for you. One of their claims to fame is their controversial billboard
campaigns that ruffle the feathers of the status quo. Billboards and other
types of advertising costs lots of money, and that's where you come in.
Their website is just recovering after a bad crash, so keep coming back,
and be sure to subscribe to their free email newsletter. They lost a lot of
people on their mailing list, so if you used to get their newsletter and
don't now, sign up again. I have often used their research for my
newsletter.

------ Programmers Guild ------
Techno-geeks need some representation too. PG is the only organization that
exclusively represents programmers and that oppose H-1B and outsourcing.
Join them by going here:
http://www.programmersguild.org/
------ Californians for Population Stabilization ------
Their reach is much broader than the name implies because they get involved
with national issues. The have a fax system very similar to NumbersUSA.
I may soon be writing occasional columns for them as a "Senior Writing
Fellow". Stay tuned for those.
