I will be talking about the "March for Immigrant Rights" protest in
Phoenix, AZ. Most reporters and media observed the protests from
helicopters or main street corners. I followed the protestors on our city
streets where I saw lots of marchers but no reporters. My interpretation of
the event might be quite different the ones you will hear from both sides
of the immigration debate.

100,000 march for immigrant rights
Massive crowds highlight economic, political might
A crowd of more than 100,000 marched and rallied Monday in Phoenix in
support of legalization for millions of undocumented immigrants, exceeding
organizers' expectations and adding momentum to the nationwide movement
that included similar marches in cities across the country.
