In my last newsletter I used an entry from the Fairfax County Chamber of
Commerce's Government Affairs Department blog. In it, Virginia candidate
for Senator Jim Webb states that he is opposed to H-1B.

The administrators of the blog allow comments, but be careful what you say!
I sent a few simple statements that praised Jim Webb's opposition to H-1B
followed by information about how his opponent, George Allen, supports H-1B
and the Skil Bill. My message was promptly censored from the website, and
my comment wasn't the only one to be removed!

Apparently the Chamber of Commerce posted that blog as a way of castigating
Jim Webb for opposing H-1B. They are intolerant to anything written to the
contrary because they are H-1B supporters and shortage shouters. Read this

The immediate staffing shortages in Fairfax County are in the
technology sector, according to the head of the County's
Economic Development Authority. That problem is nationwide and
will require a comprehensive approach that includes the
expansion of our H-1B visa program.

Your mission, should you decide accept it, is to send a comment to that
blog that also gets censored. The easiest way to do that would be to praise
Webb and to criticize H-1B.

Be sure to copy and paste your message before you publish it, and send it
to me if it gets censored. Once they censor several more messages I will
publish them in a newsletter.
